Enamyl started as one dentist's answer to a simple question: what would a dental office feel like if it were built entirely around the patient? In August 2024, Dr. Yousif Al Najafi took over the practice and reimagined all of it (the name, the room, the mission) into something calmer and more welcoming.

Meet your dentist Meet Dr. Al Najafi
Dr. Yousif Al Najafi was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. After the 2003 war, his family relocated to Syria, where he earned his first dental degree in 2013. He then moved to the United States, settled in Virginia, and went on to graduate with high honors from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2019.
He spent his early years practicing across Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, building experience in every corner of dentistry before opening Enamyl in 2024. His focus today is cosmetic dentistry and clear aligner therapy, with Invisalign as the work he enjoys most. He is a Silver Invisalign provider, a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, and part of the Arlington Invisalign Study Club, so his aligner cases are planned and monitored with real precision.
Away from the office, Dr. Al Najafi lives in D.C., where he is usually biking, working out, tracking down a new restaurant, or planning his next trip. He is a lifelong cat person and credits his two sisters, one a dentist and one a physician, for a belief that has stuck with him:

Insurance CoordinatorShantese helps patients make sense of their dental insurance benefits and the financial side of their care. She walks through treatment plans, answers questions about coverage and cost, and makes the next steps clear and easy to follow. Outside the office, she is a proud mom of two who loves spending time with her family.

Dental AssistantMaria joined the team in 2023 and brings a calm, caring presence to every appointment. She enjoys all sides of dentistry, with a soft spot for the cosmetic work that helps patients feel good about their smiles. A lifelong Northern Virginia resident, she loves being part of the Arlington community and spends her free time tracking down local restaurants and hidden gems.

Dental AssistantEmily has been a dental assistant since 2021, focused on quality care and a comfortable experience for everyone in her chair. Invisalign is close to her heart, partly from assisting with treatments and partly from her own time as a patient. Having been through it herself, she loves helping others get to their most confident smile.
